A slew of celebrity investors, including Lewis Hamilton, Natalie Portman, chef José Andrés, and artist Justin Timberlake, just invested in vertical faming startup Bowery.

“It’s a really exciting milestone for the whole company and everybody is really thrilled,” founder and CEO Irving Fain told AFN. “Not just because it recognizes the work that we’ve done but I take it equally for the work that’s still ahead and the belief of some really great partners in terms of what we’re going to accomplish in this segment.”

The NYC-based startup’s various produce products are now available and being sold in 850 stores. With indoor farming companies AeroFarms and AppHarvest going public via SPAC, the farming space is heating up. Stay updated here as to which companies are raising money and how you can invest!
