Founded by Diana Gonzalez, whose personal health journey with Hashimoto’s disease and family history of colon cancer inspired her to seek out nutrient-rich foods, Cactus Foods is redefining what it means to snack with purpose.
Diana’s introduction to the health benefits of nopal came from her mother, sparking the idea that cactus could be a powerful ingredient for both wellness and sustainability. Backed by nearly 20 years of experience in sales and marketing—including her role as Director of Paid Programming at NBC/Universal—Diana set out to merge her passion for snacking with her commitment to health and the planet.
Today, Cactus Foods is guided by a clear mission: to craft flavorful, crunchy snacks that are better for you and better for the environment. With a vision to pioneer cactus as a staple in the plant-based movement, the brand is championing biodiversity, reducing environmental impact, and inspiring global culinary exploration.
