NYC Bakers Redefine Plant-Based Baking for Veganuary 2026

For Veganuary 2026, 15 bakeries and restaurants have teamed up with Tourlami to roll out high quality, limited-run plant-based items. Bakers trained in classical techniques are now applying their high level skill sets to plant based formats, supported in part by a new wave of high-quality ingredients including Tourlami plant-based butters.

Rather than positioning vegan baking as an alternative category, participating bakeries, cafés, and restaurants are fully embracing plant-based baking and cooking- resulting in a citywide slate of pastries and dishes that are both delicious and exciting.

Throughout January, the following items will be available across NYC as part of Veganuary with Tourlami 2026:

• Post — Vegan Pot Pie — January 1 -31 (Dinner Only)

• Fillings — Vegan Crème Brûlée Custard Pie — Date TBD

• A & C Super — Raspberry Fruit Danish — January 1 - 31

• Red Gate — Vegapolitan Cake — Jan 6, Jan 13, Jan 20, and Jan 27

• WSA — Lemon Poppyseed Muffin — January 5–31

• Pavlo Mochi — Matcha Coconut Mochi — January 1–18

• Spirals — Cinnamon Bun with Vanilla Pastry Cream and Fresh Berries — January 7 - 31

• Hani's — Double Chocolate and Cookie Butter cookie — 1/10-1/11, 1/17 - 1/18, 1/24-1/25, 1/31

• Bub’s Bakery — Cinnamon Roll — January 1 - 31

• The Elk — Special Salad — Late January

Veganuary 2026 reflects a broader shift happening quietly in professional kitchens: consumers no longer need to sacrifice on taste to enjoy plant-based foods thanks to Tourlami and the incredible chefs participating this January.
