Title of the Role: Board Member

Company Description:

VCC is a nonprofit building infrastructure for vegan content creators. We train creators to reach mainstream audiences, build sustainable businesses, and coordinate campaigns that put plant-based messaging in front of people who would never seek it out on their own. Our programs include a year-round paid community, an annual Los Angeles conference, and multi-creator campaigns with measurable impact.

Role Description:

We are seeking board members with nonprofit and fundraising expertise to help VCC grow sustainably. Ideal candidates have experience in one or more of the following:

-Nonprofit fundraising and development

-Grant writing or foundation relations

-Nonprofit board governance

-Major donor cultivation

-Experience in the animal advocacy, vegan, or environmental nonprofit space

Responsibilities:

Attend quarterly board meetings (4 per year, ~90 minutes each, virtual)
A meaningful annual contribution to support our operations (give or raise)
Review materials before meetings
Provide strategic guidance on fundraising and nonprofit operations
Help identify and connect VCC to funding opportunities
Serve as an ambassador for VCC within your network

Time Commitment:

Approximately 2-4 hours per month. This is a volunteer position, reviewed annually.
