At VEGPRENEUR, our goal is to champion vegan brands and propel them forward through community, mentorship, and resources. Since our inception, we've been focused on the specific hurdles and challenges faced by emerging plant-based businesses. We created the VEGPRENEUR Awards to highlight potential game-changers within our community and beyond!
The Judges
The judges are buyers, influencers, chefs, and other CPG and industry leaders.
More judges will be added soon. Judges subject to change.
How does it work?
We seek to honor the most forward-thinking, innovative, and trustworthy CPG products. Submit your product(s) for a VEGPRENEUR Award to open doors and gain valuable visibility to buyers, influencers, chefs, and key decision-makers, along with exclusive recognition at the Plant Based World Expo in NYC. Brands from around the world are invited to participate!
Brands must send at least 3 samples to the address provided after submitting their product entry.
Your product will be tasted by buyers, influencers, chefs, and key decision-makers in the plant-based industry at two tasting events; one in NYC and one in Los Angeles.
Two Tasting Events (NYC and Los Angeles)
Our judges will gather in October and November in New York City and Los Angeles to test all of the products submitted, provide feedback, and rate them.
Each product will be tasted by at least 3 judges.
All brands who submit are eligible for a 15 minute call after the end of the Awards to their personalized feedback from the judges.

Plant-Based Meat/Protein (burgers, deli meats, sausages, etc.)
Plant-Based Seafood (shrimp, fish, smoked fish, etc.)
Plant-Based Frozen Dessert (ice cream snacks, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream bars, sorbet, etc.)
Plant-Based Snack (bars, chips, jerky, etc.)
Plant-Based Baked Good/Patisserie (doughnut, cakes, cookies, etc.)
Plant-Based Cheese (artisanal cheese, cheese spreads, sliced cheese, etc.)
Plant-Based Beverage (kombucha, non-alcoholic, sodas, drink pouches, etc.)

Taste/texture/smell (50%)
Innovation/novelty/ingredients (20%)

What is the timeline?
Submissions are open and close by November 1. Winners will be announced at the Plant-Based World Expo in New York City on December 2-3, 2025.
Samples: Product samples must arrive by in NYC or Los Angeles by a date announced soon!
Each product will only be tasted at one of the tasting events!
Tasting events are only open to judges.
