What led you to where you are today?
I have a degree in Fashion Design and am a full-time corporate designer by day.I always wanted to start my own earth-friendly label, something that spoke to the ethics and sustainability I strive to incorporate into my everyday life. I am a habitual beach goer, and the swimwear niche for me just felt natural. In 2018 I decided to go all in and The Days Swimwear was born!
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
Social Media Management! I have taken on countless hours crafting a social media platform that best represents the brand. It took some time before I was truly happy with my imagery, content, interactions etc. I am still learning something new everyday in regards to online engagement and the relationship of e-commerce sales.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I can help raise awareness for ethical manufacturing and conscious consumerism. Everything we produce at The Days Swimwear is full transparency. I personally know the wonderful, well-treated employees that craft my clothing in our certified factory. By supporting my brand, you are not only supporting my dream but you are supporting the people around me who put their hard work, passion and kindness into each piece of clothing we create as one.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
Spread the word about my brand :) I am a one-woman show, and it can be stressful at times but the reward outweighs everything.
