Sibling pop stars Billie Eilish and Finneas just announced they are joining forces with seasoned restaurateur Nic Adler to launch Argento, a new vegan restaurant in the vibrant Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

As the anticipation builds for the opening, Adler, known for his advocacy in the vegan culinary scene, shares his excitement while reflecting on a cinematic moment from GoodFellas. In the midst of preparations for their latest culinary endeavor, Adler, sporting a JUNK FOOD VEGAN T-shirt, strolls with his bulldog outside 2870 Rowena Avenue. Meanwhile, Eilish, one of the investors, strikes a pose for a magazine shoot within the still-under-construction restaurant space.

Taking over the former home of Little Pine, originally established by musician and vegan activist Moby in 2015, Adler and his team are revamping the space. Enhancements include a VIP chef's table and an expanded outdoor patio, the latter under the creative guidance of landscape designer Sarita Jaccard. Argento is set to welcome guests next month.

Adler, expressing his fondness for Italian cuisine and the conviviality of extended Sunday dinners, envisions Argento as a hub for friends to gather, cook, and share meals. The name "Argento," derived from the Latin word for silver (argentum), encapsulates Adler's vision of creating a special place for the community.

As the eldest of seven sons born to L.A. music industry legend Lou and actress Britt Ekland, Adler brings a wealth of experience, having managed the Roxy on the Strip during his 20s and later introducing craft beer and cruelty-free fare to Coachella. Despite challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, Adler's commitment to plant-based dining has flourished with ventures like Monty's Good Burgers and Nic's On Beverly in West Hollywood.

For Argento, Adler deliberately seeks a neighborhood restaurant ambiance, and the collaboration with local sensations Billie Eilish and Finneas adds a unique touch to the endeavor.

Reflecting on the essence of Argento, Adler encapsulates it in one word: "Home."

Argento's location has historical roots, once housing the beloved vegan bistro, Little Pine, for seven years. Under Moby's ownership, Little Pine attracted a diverse clientele, including celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Clinton, and Miley Cyrus. Unfortunately, it temporarily closed during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and later shuttered in 2022. With Argento poised to open its doors, Billie Eilish, Finneas, and Nic Adler are set to deliver a fresh and exciting vegan dining experience to the heart of Los Angeles.
