Chaga Mushroom Broth Named NEXTY Finalist

Two River Mushroom, a USDA-certified organic mushroom farm and consumer packaged goods brand, has been named a 2026 NEXTY Awards finalist, earning recognition for its new Chaga Mushroom Broth in one of the natural products industry’s most competitive innovation programs.

Presented by Natural Products Expo West and New Hope Network, the NEXTY Awards honor products that demonstrate excellence in innovation, integrity and inspiration across the natural and organic marketplace. As a finalist in the Functional Foods and Beverage Category, Two River’s plant-based, organic, gluten-free Chaga Mushroom Broth was selected from nearly 1,000 entries submitted by brands across 37 categories.

The Chaga Mushroom Broth expands Two River’s lineup of slow-simmered, mushroom-forward broths designed for everyday use. Known for its deep, earthy flavor and long history in traditional wellness practices, chaga is gaining momentum among consumers seeking functional foods that fit seamlessly into daily routines.

Two River Mushroom will exhibit at Natural Products Expo West, March 3–6 in Anaheim, California, where attendees can sample the Chaga Mushroom Broth and meet the team at booth #8604. NEXTY Award winners will be announced during Expo West on March 5.

The new Two River Mushroom Chaga Broth joins the brand’s signature Lion’s Mane Mushroom Broth, which earned a Sofi Gold Award at the Specialty Food Association’s Fancy Food Show last year and the Retailers' Choice Award at Newtopia last month. The next SKU the brand will introduce is a Thai-inspired Maitake Coconut Milk Broth.
