Oatly has taken the world by storm. If you haven’t heard of Oatly, it’s the oat milk brand that people were paying over $200 for on Amazon during a shortage in 2018.

What is Oatly?

Oatly was founded back in the 1990s and is based on Swedish research from Lund University. The company's patented enzyme technology copies nature's own process and turns fiber rich oats into nutritional liquid food that is perfectly designed for humans, according to the company’s website.

As a private company today, Oatly has attracted various celebrity investors, including Oprah, Howard Schultz, JAY Z, and Natalie Portman. Luckily for retail investors, Oatly has just indicated that they are looking to go public at a valuation of 10 billion dollars.

When will Oatly be available on the stock market?

Oatly is said to price its deal on Thursday, May 20, and trade during the day at some point. You can also find a list of other sustainable and vegan stocks to invest in here.
