What led you to where you are today?
Wanting to offer a sustainable alternative in an industry dominated by waste. It was also an outlet for me to combine numerous strengths into one mission.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
It would have been good to know that with more control over quality, the slower things tend to go, and you can only do so much on your own! Bootstrapping your business is hard, but you'll impact the lives of people you'll never meet, and that's what makes it so fulfilling.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Having to slow down and take a step back to prevent burnout. You can't do everything all the time, you have to take care of yourself and keep it fun and enjoyable.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I'm happy to act as a resource for any of the sustainable vendors I've discovered. I've also been plant-based and interested in nutrition for most of my life, so I've accumulated a good deal of knowledge there.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
More visibility for my brand allows me to make a bigger impact in my reforestation efforts, and in reducing single-use options offered by competitors.
Fun fact about you:
I've been vegan for over 20 years, and outside of my business, I'm a DJ and maintain a healthy level of athleticism.
