Bill Gates is encouraging ambitious entrepreneurs to embrace the vast opportunities emerging in the fight against climate change. In a recent Threads post, he emphasized that addressing climate issues isn’t just about hidden innovations like algorithms optimizing energy efficiency or underground carbon capture systems. “In the coming year, some of the most impactful solutions will be visible and accessible to everyone,” Gates remarked.
One of the ideas he is most interested in is meat alternatives and sustainable dairy proteins: “And while the meat-replacement market is already pretty robust, sustainable dairy protein alternatives are improving daily. (I now prefer a fungi-based yogurt over the "real" stuff.)”
Given that there is only one fungi-based yoghurt on the US market, he most likely is referring to Nature’s Fynd, a VEGPRENEUR member company. Their Yoghurt’s also won a VEGPRENEUR Award in 2024!
