This role is ideal for an experienced resource development professional with a passion for philanthropy, Judaism, and veganism. The Development Officer will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, cultivating donor relationships, soliciting grants, and supporting strategic resource development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and major donors.
Compile grant proposals and reports in collaboration with leadership.
Maintain donor and funder relationships with professionalism and care.
Track funding leads, due dates, and reporting requirements.
Support fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven fundraising track record in the Jewish or vegan community, securing grants, sponsorships, or major gifts.
Knowledge of foundations or major donors who would resonate with our mission.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, due dates, and projects independently.
Passion for Jewish values, plant-based living, sustainability, and community-building.
Comfort working in a remote, flexible environment with a small, dynamic team.
