Title of the Role: Street Food/Festival Events Manager

Short Description of Role: We’re looking for someone to come in and help us run our street food events team during this summer’s festival season.

Company Description:

Hi! We’re Matt and Ross, two vegans craving an old-fashioned hog roast. Unable to take down another bean burger, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Together with our great team, we’ve come up with the UK’s first hog roast roll that even Piglet and Babe would approve of.

Now we're looking to build our team and get our trademark Hogless Rolls out to even more people.

Compensation:

Salary circa £30,000 – £35,000, pro rata, depending on experience.

Role Description:

Building and breaking down festival setups.

Managing day-to-day operations, including stock taking, food hygiene, communicating with management.

Ability to work at any ‘station’ during service (we are a small team and this will also be a hands-on role)

45 hours per week (averaged over a month).

Qualifications:

Experience working in a festivals/street food environment

Experience managing teams of kitchen staff

Food hygiene level 2 (we will provide a level 3 training course) qualification minimum

An unflappable demeanour and understanding of operating calmly during busy services

Driving license (preferred)

Looking for someone to start mid May but will be looking to fill the position ASAP. There is the option for different contract lengths (1 month minimum).
