When did you launch the business?

What led you to where you are today?

Tinty started when founder Alice Galperin struggled to find eyebrow-specific cosmetics that were all-natural and vegan. She was sick and tired of ingredient lists she couldn't pronounce and prices she couldn’t afford. That’s when she started cooking something up, quite literally, in her kitchen.

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey? 

Honestly, there is nothing I wish I knew beforehand. The goal is to always stay foolish and hungry. I have learned something new every single day, which has been of such great value to myself and the brand. I truly believe part of entrepreneurship is making mistakes and learning along the way.

What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far? 

My most difficult business decision was right at the beginning. I had to stop making excuses as to why I didn't have enough time or money to get started. The day I invented the formula I promised to stop making excuses.

What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?

Currently, the market for 100% natural vegan cosmetics is small, and for consumers searching for (truly) clean products can be difficult to find. This journey started as a solution to my own personal problem, but now I have the opportunity to spread awareness of the importance of clean beauty products and practices. It is just as important as the products you ingest.

How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you? 

We are an up-and-coming brand and are looking to enter the community of like-minded individuals who care about sustainable entrepreneurship. VEGPRENEUR is giving us the opportunity to connect with people like yourselves, and we are so grateful for platforms like this that promote a sustainable future.

Fun fact about you: 

Even though I am in my early 20s, I consider myself to be an old soul. It just so happened that the brand & mission I created along the way is also 1970's themed. It embodies my vintage hippie style! We even named all four shades after my favorite 70s songs.
