What led you to where you are today?
Goldie’s Superfoods began as a personal journey. During my first pregnancy and breastfeeding, I cut out dairy for my son’s health and discovered nutritional yeast as a game-changing, plant-based "cheesy" alternative. As I delved deeper into functional nutrition, I saw the need for a high-quality, organic, and non-fortified option—so I created Goldie’s to fill that gap, bringing clean, nutrient-rich superfoods to every kitchen so we can all feel our best!
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
Mindset is everything! This journey is a total rollercoaster, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you have to trust that everything is figureoutable. Things will take longer than you expect—manufacturing hiccups, finding the right partners, and making sure everything aligns. But the biggest lesson is just start before you feel ready, and you need to believe in yourself and your vision 1000%—because no one else will see your vision as clearly as you do!
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
The toughest decision so far has been choosing between slow, steady growth using my own funds or bringing on angel investors to scale faster. Bootstrapping gives me full control and allows me to build the brand exactly as I envision, but it also means slower expansion and more financial pressure. On the other hand, investors could provide the capital to grow quickly, but that comes with giving up some ownership and aligning with the right people who truly share my vision.

Fun fact about you:
I run half marathons and am training for my first full marathon—some of my best creative business ideas come to me while I’m out on a run! Fun fact: my first business was a kids' clothing brand called Little Papaya Co., where I sold t-shirts and onesies promoting veganism. Entrepreneurship has always been in my blood, and I love building brands that align with my passion for health, sustainability, and living with purpose!

I just want to remind everyone to go after their dreams, live authentically, and take care of their body—because when you feel your best, you show up as your best.
