What led you to where you are today?

When I got into this whole makeup-as-a-career thing I was just trying to solve a personal problem. I couldn’t find a good lipstick that didn’t didn’t harm animals or the planet. When I tried vegan lipsticks, I was let down. They were super drying and just didn’t deliver the way my other lipsticks did. So, I got to working in my kitchen and two years later I had the 10-Ingredient formula that launched Axiology.

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?

I wish I knew how hard running a business would be! I would have still launched Axiology, but I guess I would have found some mentors and a network right away. I went in blindly with ignorant bliss.
