What led you to where you are today?

I’ve been a gardener since childhood to varying degrees of success. While I found that after a couple of years tending the same spot, I understood a plot's intricacies, I always wondered if there was a way of 'speeding up' the process of acclimating to an area’s unique patterns. I was fortunate to eventually land at a hedge fund where the understanding of an area's environment became core to one of the products I traded and growing frustrated with finance ended up applying much of that insight to growing plants.

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?

Just how hard making a physical product is!!! I've always heard the old trope that 'hardware is hard' but honestly, I always thought people were exaggerating!
