What led you to where you are today?
It was a combination of my experience as a research scientist as well as my own personal health struggles that led me to create Nu Pursuit. I knew that there was a huge gap in the supplement space for products that are truly supported by science and for companies that are transparent with their customers, and I knew that I could bring immense value to the space.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I knew that it was important to just start rather than trying to make everything perfect. Your brand doesn't need to be perfect, your product doesn't need to be perfect, and your website doesn't need to be perfect. If you can just start, then you can iterate and build your brand as you go. Starting and pulling the trigger is the hardest part.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
The most difficult decision I've had to make so far was in choosing a supplement manufacturer that was right for our brand that stood for the same values as us. Many supplement manufacturers cut corners, don't run the right testing on the final product, and are only looking to increase their margins. It took us close to a year to find the right manufacturer to partner with.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I would love to share my experiences as an entrepreneur so far and share what has worked and what hasn't worked. I especially want to focus on mistakes I've made so other entrepreneurs are aware that mistakes will happen along the road, but the important thing is to keep going.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
I am interested to hear how other entrepreneurs in the community got involved in the space, what their biggest wins and biggest regrets are so far, and what inspires them to keep moving forward.

Our product, the plant-based essentials, is meant to target the most common nutrient gaps seen in plant-based diets. It's for people who are plant-based and looking for a sustainable lifestyle without worrying about missing out on key nutrients.
