What led you to where you are today?
After years in animal welfare and a love for baking, I set out to prove that vegan desserts can be every bit as delicious, indulgent, and exciting as traditional ones. That journey led to years of recipe development, countless tests, and ultimately the creation of Denver Macaron. Today, we pour our hearts into this business we love, crafting plant-based macarons that show just how incredible cruelty-free sweets can be.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I knew more about how there is no real "path" to starting a business. There were times that I wanted to be just told what to do and how to do it, but it just doesn't exist. The only way to keep going forward is to truly love your business and be ready to learn and problem solve every day.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
How to scale and how fast to scale. We made the jump to leave a wonderful commissary kitchen and move into our own space. That was incredibly scary and difficult but I am so glad that we were able to make that move.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
We love meeting other entrepreneurs that are in love with what they are doing and excited to build businesses, especially in the plant-based world. We are happy to share what has worked and what has not on our journey.

Fun fact about you:
My first baking creations were cakes I made for my mom in the microwave that she would always "eat" after I went to bed. I have always loved creating recipes, and they have definitely improved since the microwave cake days!
