August 1, 2010
What led you to where you are today?
I experienced a healthcare scare in my family and I decided to transition to natural products. I was unable to source really clean products that were affordable. That led me to begin developing my own products in my kitchen!
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I should have followed my passion and listened to my instincts much sooner! I was so busy pursuing a career and chasing a stable income I didn't realize how unhappy that made me as a person. I would tell my younger self to jump in with both feet, lose the fear, and pursue passion and happiness!
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
To give up a stable income and GO FOR IT! I've had to make tough decisions about paying myself or buying supplies for the business; I've had to drop my healthcare to be sure I have enough money for payroll, and sacrifice time off, weekends, and vacations to work on the business, but it's been 100% WORTH IT!

I was born and raised on a FARM! What? Yes, and because of that I decided to be vegetarian at 13!
