What led you to where you are today?
I've always been passionate about nutrition and health. I'm a trained Dietician and former Head of Global Marketing & Innovation for a major infant formula brand. When I embarked on my own motherhood journey I wanted to nourish my body and my baby with whole food, plant-based nutrients - not synthetic supplements. I was aware of the science and the evidence-based support for this, but these products didn’t exist - so I began making my own!
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I had a better grasp on just how long it takes to create something from scratch and bring it into the world. I was used to the corporate world where all the systems are in place and things can get done quickly. When you are an entrepreneur you have to build a strong foundation - generating business relationships and partnerships from scratch. It doesn't always align with what you put onto a spreadsheet, but once it all comes together it's completely worth it!
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I'm always willing to be a sounding board and/or share my experience on anything related to maternal and infant nutrition or branding, to support other plant-based entrepreneurs!
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
Nunona is at a stage where we want people to know about us! If you know anyone who wants to create better quality breastmilk and create healthier humans please share so we can collectively create a healthier planet.
Fun fact about you:
