LA-based dessert company, Yoga-urt, is thrilled to celebrate its 10-year Anniversary on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, marking a decade of delicious innovation in plant-based soft serve.

Over the past ten years, Yoga-urt has redefined what dessert can be by proving that healthier options can also be irresistibly indulgent. Known for its creamy, dreamy, 100% dairy-free soft serve, Yoga-urt has become a go-to destination for wellness-minded dessert lovers across LA.

To celebrate this sweet milestone, all Yoga-urt locations will offer:

A brand-new flavor
Custom commemorative bamboo spoons for the first 50 customers at each location
A limited-edition birthday sundae
$1 off all soft serve bowls from 3-5 pm (one per customer)
Debut new waffle cones made with our homemade almond milk and almond flour

Founded by female entrepreneur Melissa Schulman, Yoga-urt has stood out since 2015 for its uncompromising commitment to wellness, sustainability, and flavor. Each batch of soft serve is handcrafted in-house from a base of hand-squeezed almond and cashew milk, infused with probiotics and free from dairy, soy, gluten, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives.

With over 35 original flavors-including fan favorites like Chocolate Bliss, Salted Caramel Zen, Strawberry Serenity, and Papa's Boysenberry Pie-Yoga-urt has created a cult following across LA. Customers also enjoy smoothies, kombucha floats, shakes, banana splits, soft serve pies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and pints to-go.

Yoga-urt currently operates three corporate locations (Glendale, Echo Park, Santa Monica) and one franchise (Granada Hills), with hopes to expand to new communities through future franchise opportunities. All corporate locations are Certified Green Businesses, using compostable or reusable materials and operating with one of the lowest carbon footprints in frozen dessert.

In a commitment to as little waste as possible, even the almond pulp from almond milk-making is repurposed into waffle cones, pie crusts, and cookie sandwiches.
