What led you to where you are today?
After launching Petit Vour, my partner and I fully dedicated ourselves to the company, made tremendous personal sacrifices, and listened constantly to our customers, so that we could change course whenever needed. It's been an incredible journey, but we are so grateful to have been the first clean vegan beauty box and are very much looking forward to the seasons to come.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I'd known that the service you provide is drastically more important than appearances. We spent so much time and money on things that, in the end, really didn't make a difference to our bottom line. Though we were able to eventually redirect funds, we still wasted (and worried) a lot during our first few years in business.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Sometimes what you want personally isn't what your customer wants or is ready for. Having to scrap something that you've invested in is difficult, but dragging it out is worse in the long run. It's best to nip it, take note of what didn't work, and learn from those mistakes.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
Hopefully, I can help answer some of the community questions. I'm particularly experienced in the beauty arena and would be happy to help emerging brands position themselves so they can better attract customers.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
I'm mostly just eager to connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs.
Fun fact about you:
I've lived in seven different cities with my partner and we now live happily in Austin with our rescue dog, Maya.
