What led you to where you are today?
My son, Ellis. As my first born, when he came into the world, I became incredibly picky about every single ingredient that I would feed my little one. When cereal was a recommendation for introductory finger foods I had my lightbulb moment. At the time, there was no clean, better-for-you cereal on the market that I was excited to feed my son and also consume myself. And Three Wishes was born!
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
Honestly, nothing. When it comes to starting your own business, (a good amount of) ignorance is bliss. If I knew any more about the journey I was about to embark on, I think I’d be too afraid to take the leap. Instead, what I didn’t know couldn’t hurt me – my naivety enabled me to be brave, take things one step at a time, and feel empowered to keep going.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Launching! When you spend two years creating a product, the most difficult part is deciding when to take the leap and launch. I could have allowed myself a hundred more rounds of taste-testing and design iterations, but at some point you have to decide you’re ready and jump in head first.

I love to DIY, whether it’s cutting my kids’ hair, doing my own nails, trimming my own hedges, or making my own cereal, I love a challenge and love learning to master a new skill.
