Meet our member, Cha’s Organics, a purpose-driven food brand bringing Fair Trade, organic, and plant-based foods to the table while supporting farmers, communities, and biodiversity worldwide.

 
 
 

Founded in 2006 by Chanaka and Marise, Cha’s Organics was built on the belief that food should nourish both people and the planet. Coming from opposite sides of the world, the founders know firsthand the importance of diversity, fairness, and staying true to one’s roots. Today, the company partners with regenerative organic growers to bring vibrant, plant-based, and gluten-free foods to the table while supporting biodiversity, fair trade, and resilient farming communities.

Purpose-driven since day one, Cha’s Organics has always stood for a fair deal for farmers. All products are Fair Trade Certified, ensuring growers receive fair prices, tools, organic seedlings, and ongoing training in biodynamic and traditional farming methods. These premiums also support education, women’s empowerment, and community resources.

Cha’s Organics is also committed to wildlife conservation, donating 1% of all coconut milk and cream sales to the Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society to protect wild elephants and foster peaceful human–elephant coexistence.
