What led you to where you are today?

In 2017, I was able to solve my chronic cognitive issues (e.g., brain fog, headaches, etc.) by adopting a low-carbohydrate, plant-based diet. I then set out to create the first ready-to-eat "brain food." After a year of formulating in my apartment in Boston, IQBAR was born!

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?

I wish I knew how critical building the right team is. Any one person on a small startup team can have a massive positive (or negative) impact on your ability to weather hardship, grow, and ultimately succeed.

What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I am happy to share how we've built a strong e-commerce business, as well as how we've gained widespread distribution throughout the US.

How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?

I would love to learn of how to grow distribution through vegan-friendly retailers - both online and brick-and-mortar.
