Los Angeles, May 20, 2024 – VEGPRENEUR, the community and media platform dedicated to fostering and propelling vegan businesses, proudly announces the launch of the VEGPRENEUR Awards, a prestigious accolade honoring the finest achievements in the plant-based industry. In partnership with the Plant Based World Expo, these awards aim to spotlight groundbreaking vegan products from around the globe, providing unparalleled visibility and recognition to emerging brands.
Since its inception, VEGPRENEUR has been committed to supporting and championing the growth of vegan ventures, addressing the unique challenges faced by plant-based businesses. The VEGPRENEUR Awards represent a significant milestone in this mission, serving as a catalyst for innovation and advancement within the plant-based community.
Submitted products will be sampled at exclusive tasting events held in New York City and Los Angeles this July and August, offering participants invaluable exposure and feedback from industry experts.
Open to brands worldwide, the VEGPRENEUR Awards invite submissions across an array of categories spanning food and beverage, as well as non-food sectors. From plant-based meats and dairy alternatives to sustainable clothing and cleaning products, these awards celebrate excellence and ingenuity across diverse product offerings.
How it Works
Entrants are encouraged to submit their products for consideration, providing an opportunity to showcase their creations to key industry stakeholders, including buyers, influencers, chefs, and decision-makers. Each submission undergoes rigorous evaluation by esteemed judges, with criteria including taste, innovation, packaging sustainability, and market viability.

Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated based on taste, texture, smell, innovation, ingredients, packaging sustainability, market feasibility, and branding.
Prizes and Recognition
Winners and honorable mentions will be celebrated at a prize ceremony during the Plant Based World Expo in New York City on September 11, 2024. Prizes include an exclusive invite-only dinner with buyers, product showcasing opportunities, featured coverage on VEGPRENEUR and Plant Based World Expo platforms, trophy/award plaques, discounts on booth at Plant Based World Expo North America 2025, and more.
Timeline
Submissions are now open and will close on July 15, 2024. Winners will be announced at the Plant Based World Expo in New York City on September 11, 2024.
