Meet the french cheesemaker democratizing vegan cheese with an at-home do-it-yourself cheese-making kit.

After two years of research and development and hundreds of Vromtons made and tasted, the make-cheese-at-home kit is finally available for purchase. It offers buyers an easy and fun experience to make their own vegan camembert at home in about 15 days.

According to french startup Vromton, the kit is an innovative concept that offers the essential elements (recipe + utensils + ferments) to easily make your own vegan cheese, using the classic codes of artisan cheesemaking!

According to Vromton their cheese kit saves both the planet and animals: It requires 3x less CO2 emissions than a cow's milk camembert* and uses no animal products.

How did Vromton get its start?

The concept was born from the meeting of co-founders Remi and William in 2018. At the time they were two activists who participated in a symposium on wild animals in the circus, at the French National Assembly, organized by the Paris Animals Zoopolis association. Their values for animal welfare and the environment led them to become friends and together they wanted to offer more than a kit, an experience in the era of time that reconciles gustatory pleasure and respect for animals.

Thanks to Vromton, Remi, and William offer you a fun experience, to make this French emblem a quality food that respects environmental issues, and animal well-being, and is budget-friendly.

Meet the founders:

Rémi grew up in Auvergne, the famous French cheese region. After studying in a business school, a year in Australia, and a world tour, he moved to Paris where he developed his skills in digital content creation, fashion, and eco-friendly entrepreneurship with unwavering passion, enthusiasm, and benevolence.

William is a geological engineer and a doctor of planetology. Expert for more than five years in artisanal vegan cheese, this scientist is passionate about stones and minerals but also an entrepreneur and an insatiable foodie: in 2019 he created the concept of vegan food truck Rock'N'Truck introducing a vegan cuisine based on small French craftsmen.
