Swing Kitchen is an innovative, unique and particular sustainable concept in the quick-service system catering sector. Our offer includes burgers, wraps, nuggets, salads and also excellent desserts, all vegan and environmentally friendly.


Startup Stage:

Planning phase over 4 years in our vegan gourmet restaurant on the countryside near Vienna. January 2015: Opening of the first Swing Kitchen December 2015: Opening of the second Swing Kitchen We currently operate 9 restaurants in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. 6 of them are company stores and 3 are run by franchisees.

What led you to where you are today?

- Familiarize yourself with the rules of the market economy to avoid as much animal suffering as possible and to counteract the exploitation of the environment.
- The selection of the "right" investors.
- The cooking skills of my wife Irene.

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?

- That it is much easier for a vegan restaurant to find great employees than usual in the industry.
- That the search for suitable locations is the bottleneck of expansion.
- That raising capital, with a well-designed business plan is not the bottleneck of expansion.
