Parisian Syrup Brand Brings Sustainability to Summer Fancy Food Show

Bacanha’s first standalone booth features versatile, eco-friendly syrups for chefs, mixologists, and retailers seeking refined taste and sustainability.
Bacanha, the Paris-based brand redefining syrups for the modern palate, announces its first independent showcase at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York, marking a significant milestone for the French leader in organic syrups.
Attendees are invited to discover the elegance, creativity, and quality that have made Bacanha Europe’s fastest-growing premium organic syrup brand.
Rooted in the French tradition of taste and craftsmanship, Bacanha sets a new standard with organic syrups by honing their craft around pure cane sugar, natural extracts, and concentrated flavors. Each bottle is less sweet yet more aromatic; designed to elevate coffee, cocktails, sparkling water, iced teas, and desserts.
Sustainability is central to Bacanha’s process. Their organic cane sugar, sourced from Brazil, is grown using regenerative organic practices, biological pest control, and harvested without slash-and-burn techniques. Their supplier, Native, is the first food company in Brazil to earn ROC (Regenerative Organic CertifiedTM) status, underscoring a commitment to soil health, animal welfare, and fair labor.
Bacanha’s flavors are developed in Grasse, France using natural extracts, essential oils, and juices, with no colorings or preservatives — hence the “Brut” name. All syrups are made and bottled near Paris in recyclable amber glass, ensuring freshness and minimizing environmental impact.
At the show, attendees can meet with Bacanha representatives and their US Importer Finesaler LLC as well as sample standout flavors like Brut Yuzu, Brut Rose, and Brut Vanilla; favorites among Europe’s top retailers, mixologists, and chefs.
“Bacanha was born from a desire to evoke emotion through taste — to offer a syrup that combines flavor, beauty, and responsibility,” says Maxime David, co-founder. “We are honored to introduce our collection to the U.S. and connect with professionals who share our values of creativity, quality, and sustainability.”
Bacanha syrups are available across Europe and are now expanding in the U.S. Visit Bacanha at the Summer Fancy Food Show, Booth 750 in the French Pavilion, for a taste of the French art of syrup.
