What led you to where you are today?
I started the business because of my daughter Sophie's allergic reaction to shellfish. I was looking for a way for people to get the nutrients from the ocean without using the animals.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
How hard it is to fundraise.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Leaving whatever I built (Sophie's Kitchen) in California and moving to Singapore to work on another new venture (Sophie's BioNutrients).
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I can offer my decades of experiences in the plant-based food industry to anyone who is interested to know more about this space.

Anyone who is interested in promoting plant-based food will help us a lot.
Fun fact about you:
I am a nerd. I was originally thinking of using fermentation to grow micro algae because I wanted to build a food system that can support astronauts on spacecrafts or on Mars.
