Raw, Bold, and Delicious: Why Wild Living Foods is a Must-Try in LA

In the heart of Los Angeles, in DTLA, you’ll find one of the best restaurants in the city— Wild Living Foods, a top spot because it’s a raw, gluten-free, organic, plant-based dream!

Arriving at the location, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I love the city’s light at sunset, and the restaurant’s colorful tiled floors, large glass windows, and neon lights on the facade make it stand out.

As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by a massive fridge filled with all kinds of ice creams and pies that make your mouth water just by looking at them. I was genuinely impressed by the variety of options, both for desserts and the main menu, which ranges from sushi and burgers to Mexican food and pasta. It completely redefines what’s possible to create in raw cuisine.

In addition to the main menu, Wild Living Foods has its own line of products and an impressive range of smoothies. The all-day breakfast menu is a standout, offering mouthwatering options like Wildberry Pancakes and the Southwest Breakfast Burrito. Whether you’re craving something sweet or savory, their breakfast dishes are worth trying at any time of day.

I was set on my pie and cold brew, that’s one of my favorite things at Wild Living Foods! The pies, especially the Key Lime Pie, so creamy and delicious—the kind of dessert that feels worth trying raw just from the picture alone—so to pair with them, I ordered the Falafel Wrap—mostly because I was curious about the Brazil nut hummus. It featured macadamia nut falafel, Brazil nut hummus, quinoa, cucumber, mint, tomato, spinach, Kalamata olives, garlic-ginger sauce, living tahini, and spinach, all wrapped in a delicious, fresh wrap. It was so filling and vibrant—the kind of meal that makes you feel healthy!

We also ordered the Aztlan Bowl, which included marinated kale, quinoa pepita chorizo, guacamole, mole, pico de gallo, corn salsa, cilantro sour cream, and chipotle dressing. The bowl offered a generous portion and was absolutely bursting with flavor.

Wild Living Foods feels like the kind of place where you’ll always discover a new flavor and a fresh way to connect with your meal. Saying that food is true medicine feels entirely right here.

After this visit, I felt like there are still so many raw dishes left to try, and the experience is absolutely worth it.
