What led you to where you are today?
I was led here today by my search for quality products for myself and family. My background is Gov & Politics and I have tried to serve and better the lives of those around me. Human or dog pain may be trivial to some, but for their loved ones it is not. Seeing my own mother experiencing debilitating nerve pain pushed me to help others.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I knew the funding route is not so cut and dry. Just get out there and start selling, don't be so peculiar, move swiftly, and push back when you are not being heard or take your business elsewhere.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
One of the most difficult decisions was how I was going to prioritize the spending of my first investment. Get a CBD license or build the foundations of my business. Seems like an easy choice now, but when I was making it there were many directions to go in.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I can help the Vegpreneur community to increase visibility for certain industries including Pet and Cannabis, which are huge and growing sectors. In addition, my knowledge of the levers in NY City and State is always helpful. I can provide a different perspective and helping others is my passion so if I seem someone having an issue and I have an inkling in how I can help them solve--I will not be shy. That's what community is about to me and what I hope to bring.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
The Vegpreneur community can help me harness my pitch, learn more about the industry and consumer preference, hear how other founders are handling and rising above challenges. Investment, Community, and Knowledge. Hearing from the panelists last week was groundbreaking for me. It was like someone took the last two years and condensed it in an hour. Wisdom is invaluable and I want to learn from other Vegpreneurs, meet investors, and those that will help me and vice versa.

I love cooking and enjoy making complex and diverse dishes on a regular Tuesday night.
