When did you launch the business?

What led you to where you are today?

About 2 years ago, I found myself at a low point in my life due to freelance work burnout. This experience served as a significant wake-up call, propelling me into a transformative journey. I transitioned from working on a self-improvement project to positively impacting others. Now, my focus lies in simplifying vegan eating, making it both exciting and effortless for everyone. I am passionate about assisting people in achieving their optimal nutrition, energizing them, and providing them with incredible culinary experiences. I firmly believe that Synergic foods has the power to improve the lives of many vegans and will prove invaluable to those transitioning to a vegan diet.

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey? 

I wish I had started my software development journey earlier; perhaps then, I could have provided more support to my co-founder, Eoin, who has done an incredible job building and enhancing the Synergic Foods platform. I am immensely grateful to work alongside him while we fulfill the challenge to offer a better experience and more value to our users on a weekly basis.

What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far? 

While building Synergic Foods, I was running a high-end vegan pop-up restaurant in Notting Hill, London, with a friend. The restaurant was a success, always full and receiving excellent reviews. However, at some point, I realized it was diverting my focus from my true vision: creating something that could genuinely improve people's lives, Synergic Foods. In the two-year journey that led me to start Synergic foods, I turned down numerous tempting opportunities to stay true to my vision. Saying no can be challenging, especially when things are going well. Yet, every 'no' is a 'yes' to something you believe in, and it's always worth spelling out.

While on a journey to start Synergic foods I ended up working as a chef in probably best vegan high-end, ex-michelin star restaurant in London, UK.
