Title of the Role: Store Manager


Short Description of Role: The Store Manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day functions of the restaurant. They always look to improve and achieve the highest standards in the customer experience, employee experience, and financial goals. The Manager should be passionate about the food service industry, and seek to motivate a team to extend the same passion to our guests. Manager must be comfortable with front and back of house operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensuring all productivity numbers, budgets, and sales are met

Build and motivate crew members by example, exemplifying the core values, passion, and culture of Hey, Sunshine Kitchen

Lead, train, coach, and counsel team members

Maintaining direct communications with local vendors

Resolve guest issues effectively to ensure positive guest experience

Prepare appropriate staff schedules based on projected business volume

Ensure high quality of food preparation and customer service consistent with Hey, Sunshine Kitchen requirements and procedures

Ensure all operating activities follow company standards and procedures

Execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards and equipment maintenance guidelines

Ensure the safety of guests and team members

Cultivates a positive learning environment through clear, respectful mentorship and feedback to crew members and those in training; addresses individual motivation, needs, concerns, and provides recognition

Serve your crew by actively overseeing, inspiring, and challenging members by holding them accountable for:

Building community

Enhancing and maintaining an engaging store culture

Delivering quality products

Building customer loyalty

Keeps crew members inspired and motivated during peak volumes; problem solves in a dynamic, high pressure environment

Utilizes and is a champion for using operational tools to plan and achieve excellence in their store: interviewing/hiring, labor scheduling and management, business review with Senior staff, cash and inventory management

Job Requirement:

Customer service focused and oriented

Strong communication and organization skills

Strong team building and morale building abilities

Ability to implement Company policies and procedures efficiently

Sound decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicts

Ability to adapt successfully in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills including the ability to browse the internet, use email, function within a Google Suite environment, and use Microsoft Office applications

2+ years restaurant management experience
