What led you to where you are today?
My journey began during the pandemic when my mom was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. As someone passionate about health and wellness, my family and I embraced a plant-based lifestyle, providing a firsthand glimpse into the profound impact of food on health. Motivated by this, I ventured into baking, creating delicious and healthier desserts that gained popularity among friends and family, eventually leading to the creation of The Sweet Vegan Bakery.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
Before embarking on my entrepreneurial journey, I wish I had a better appreciation for the level of dedication, perseverance, and resilience required to build a business from the ground up. It's challenging to put yourself and your ideas out there, and understanding the emotional and mental demands of entrepreneurship would have prepared me better for the journey.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
The most challenging decision I've encountered was opting to simultaneously manage my business while pursuing a business degree. This choice has demanded a substantial investment of time and effort, but it has also led to invaluable real-world experiences, connections with exceptional individuals, and reinforced my determination to persist in my entrepreneurial journey.
