2016
What led you to where you are today?
I was tired of the wasteful boring fashion industry where 99% did the same shapes.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I knew how hard it would be to get noticed among millions of other clothing brands. The clothing industry is one of the hardest to compete in.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Closing down all stores and focusing on e-commerce and wholesale.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
Putting a perspective on how wasteful the fashion industry is and how hard it is to compete when you are trying to do the right thing like using eco-conscious materials and making sure that the products are made responsibly. It would be much cheaper to produce in Asia in non-sustainable materials but then what would the point be? I would then be able to offer cheaper products and get more sales.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
The Vegpreneur would help me get more exposure and get my brand in front of the right people as the majority of my customers are making conscious choices including their food.
Fun fact about you:
I used to play soccer and almost made it to the national team of Denmark.
Anything else you would like to share?
I am on the edge of making it but if 2024 doesn't produce results then I am going to close my company as I have been working on it for 8 years and I am not supporting myself or my family.
